I have been an administrator on the Hungarian Wikipedia since 2007 and a bureaucrat since 2008. I am also a co-founder and member of the Hungarian Wikimedia chapter, Wikimedia Hungary. I served as the chapter’s executive vice president during its first two years and again between 2016 and 2018, as chair of its supervisory committee between 2010 and 2011, and as a board member between 2014 and 2016 and between 2018 and March 2019.
My work
I am the main organizer of Wiki Loves Monuments, Wiki Loves Public Art, and various GLAM and outreach projects in Hungary. I worked for Wikimedia Hungary for more than a year as the organization’s first-ever paid staff member, serving as office manager. In that role, I used my official account. From April 2019 to December 2020, I was the chapter’s community and project manager, and since February 2021 I have been working as a project coordinator. Outside of Wikimedia, I work as an engineer and researcher in the field of civil engineering, and I also hold a second degree in geodesy and geoinformatics.
