Giải Grammy lần thứ 53 được tổ chức vào ngày 13 tháng 2 năm 2011 tại Trung tâm StaplesLos Angeles, được truyền hình bởi kênh CBS. Barbra Streisand được vinh danh là nghệ sĩ MusiCares của năm tại 2 đêm đặc biệt tổ chức từ ngày 11 tháng 2. Các đề cử được công bố vào ngày 1 tháng 12 năm 2010 và tổng số có 109 giải thưởng được trao. Phần lớn các giải thưởng được công bố trong các chương trình truyền hình trước đó tổ chức tại Trung tâm Hội nghị Los Angeles gần Trung tâm Staples, nơi buổi truyền hình chính diễn ra.
